Women's Ministry is an organization whose membership is open to all women of the church.  Our purpose is to nurture our faith through Bible study (Circles), support the mission of the church, and provide a caring group of women to offer friendship, fellowship, and service.  Our Circle meetings are a time when we can "connect" with other women -- to help women feel a part of a small group, to get to know each other, to develop warm friendships, and to study the Word of God.  We encourage all women to utilize their talents, find a place of service, and meet new friends by participating in and contributing to the activities of the Women's Ministry.

Women's Morning Circle

The Women's Morning circle meets third Tuesday morning at 9:30am in the PCOL library. The Womens Morning Circle that would normally meet on Tuesday, November 17, will meet this month on Thursday, November 12 at 9:30am in the Library.

Women's Evening Circle

Evening circle meets third Thursday every month at 7:30pm in the PCOL library. Please mark your calendars for the next Women's Evening Circle on

of the Christian Education building. We will be using a Bible study called
"Our Loving Father - Enjoying God's Embrace" by Jack Kuhatschek.

RUMMAGE SALE

Saturday, March 6 from 8 am - 1 pm in the Fellowship Hall

Little Fishes Preschool is joining with Presbyterian Church of the Lakes to have a BIG rummage sale.  There will be a large variety of children's clothes, toys, books, baby items, household items, and a bake sale.  Proceeds will go to the Little Fishes scholarship fund and the PCOL building fund.  If you have items you want to donate for sale, you may bring them to Fellowship Hall on Friday, March 5, from 3 - 7 pm

WOMEN'S MINISTRY RETREAT

Come join us for an overnight RETREAT that will satisfy your cravings for friends, God, and spiritual growth. Sweet Life Café is a retreat that includes worship, singing, 3 Bible study sessions, 3 flavor-themed activity sessions, and more. The Bible sessions focus on different Bible accounts that all include bread. The key verse is John 6:35, "I am the bread of life". Our studies will help us understand what it means to be nourished by Jesus and how to share that nourishment with others.

We'll worship, sing, laugh, share stories, rest, play, and grow closer to each other and to God. We hope you can join us!

Location: Life Enrichment Center, Fruitland Park, FL (1 hour away)

                         Women's Retreat - March 19 and 20

                         Spring Luncheon - May 15

We need volunteers to help for 1 to 2 hours twice a month on a Thursday. We are looking for someone to come in on the assigned Thursday to straighten up the choir & cry rooms, keep the refrigerator cleaned out, go through the CE rooms & Bell Tower to get rid of clutter, etc. Rev. Ferdi will have a list of tasks that he would like to see completed on a consistent basis. These will just be light duty general organizing and clutter reducing tasks to help in making PCOL shine!
