Missions

God is always working to extend the message of His salvation to the ends of the earth. PCOL has been expanding its reach into new areas in Orlando and around the world and providing new ways for the church family to get involved.

Mission Work at PCOL

Missions have four main Mission objectives: Alpha course, local mission, national mission and international mission. The Mission Committee will continue to promote the hands-on Mission activities through continual announcements from the pulpit, personal invitation
and through our publications.

If you are interested in future mission opportunities, please contact Hugo Chavez or share your interest with
the church
office.

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. This program of Samaritan's Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands - on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus Christ.

Peru Mission

Three years ago 8 members of our congregation visited the Comas Church in Lima-Peru. Since then, the Comas Church (now known as the San Agustin Church) has grown tremendously. The presence of a full-time Pastor provided a lot of strength to this Church. Please contact Emanuel Solano at esolanog@yahoo.es who is the current Pastor. Periodically, he sends reports from his congregation.

Bread of Life Fellowship Food Program

The people of PCOL have the opportunity to volunteer for the Bread of Life Fellowship monthly Food Program on the Third Saturday of each month at the West Orlando Baptist Church in Ocoee. We will meet at PCOL at 8:15 a.m. to car pool, and should return about ll:30 a.m. Please contact Nancy Meyer at 407-295-0805 if you wish to take part in this worthwhile program.
