and through our publications.

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. Please bring your shoebox in by November 15 to PCOL. This program of Samaritan's Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands - on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus Christ.

Peru Mission

Three years ago 8 members of our congregation visited the Comas Church in Lima-Peru. Since then, the Comas Church (now known as the San Agustin Church) has grown tremendously. The presence of a full-time Pastor provided a lot of strength to this Church. Click here to see the short video of the trip. Please contact Emanuel Solano at esolanog@yahoo.es who is the current Pastor. Periodically, he sends reports from his congregation.

The purpose of the Mission Trip is to visit the San Agustin Church in Lima-Peru.  The last time we visited them was 2 years ago.  The main goal of the trip is to reach the youth through music.  However, we will have other activities that will depend on the talents and gifts of the people going on this trip.

Short term mission trips can bring life changes to you, a community and the church.  Within a relatively short period of time, your own life and a stranger’s life can be powerfully changed through the desire to give to a community.  Your presence during a mission trip speaks more than a thousand words through your simple love and willingness to serve.

We have two people so far, who are highly interested in being a part of this mission.  If you are interested,  please let us know immediately so we can make the arrangements.  The fare on American Airlines is $725 round trip (6/15/10).  The sooner we book the tickets, the better fare we will get.  The accommodations will be handled by the San Agustin Church and most likely will be in people's homes.

Please pray for this trip and for God's blessing.
