Prayer Warriors in Training

Prayer is being in the presence of God. It is the place where pride is forgotten, hope is lifted, and supplication is made to our Lord Jesus. Prayer is the place of admitting our needs, of taking on humility, and claiming total dependence upon God. We so often come to the Lord with legitimate requests for healing, conversions, and needs and yet the answers we hope for often do not come. Sometimes it might seem like God isn’t answering our prayers, but he’s really just refusing to give us what we think we want so he can later give us what we really need. We pray because we know that God hears us. We should pray in faith, trusting God.

We should pray for those close to us, we should pray for others. We would like to invite you to become a Prayer warrior for your Lord.

Connie, Shelley Blakeman’s aunt, recently hospitalized with organ failure.

Haley, 16 year-old daughter of friends of the Gower’s in NC, that she learns to make the right choices.

Michelle, Betty Wright’s neighbors friend, has a serious lung condition. Prayers for her return to good health.

Laura Kraft, Melanie Barker’s mother, has been diagnosed with having a macular hole in one of her eyes. Due to other medical conditions, she may not be able to have surgery. Please pray for the hole to repair itself or for the doctors to be able to repair it.

Laurie, Melva Sevig’s niece in Minneapolis, whose brain turmor was in remission, has returned. Pray that the doctors can heal it again.
